I've been getting settled in and organized, starting applications for the various programs to which I'm applying, and taking care of random errands (revising a paper from last semester, following up on the Lambda budget, etc.). oh, it's a typo. 2000, not 200. when i found out it was 3.5 million jews and i thought they only lived 200 years ago, i was like "daamn! these women must have been having babies right and left!"
