yeah, the local murder case was right in the neighborhood where I lived at that point. It really creeped everyone out. I'm glad they caught the guy, even if it is really a perplexing case from the criminal-justice standpoint now.

"I think that part of education is to expose people to different schools of thought," Bush said. "You're asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, the answer is yes."

Too bad schools rarely do that in any situation.

Interesting article for TJ there... it is what it is. You need to understand that it is, in fact, the science/technology magnet school. I personally have zero regrets about choosing TJ.

On the TJ article, I see what they mean by wanting to do other things and not having great access to it. If you didn't come into my HS already a science geek then you were thought of as a humanties geek the rest of the way through and people were not very supportive going from one to the other.

On the other hand my HS was technically a liberal arts HS even though it acted like an arts HS.

Except that the people saying this were at a science geek school and taking CREATIVE WRITING.

See my comment on my comment which was pretty much that the school I went to was technically a liberal arts HS even though it acted like an arts HS.
