First, a question: do you think this is a serious article?

VA HB 2868 seeks to ban clubs that are "focused on supporting, assisting, or justifying any lifestyle involving sexual behavior" from VA public schools. If/when the education committee (to which it was refered) votes on it, I'll let ya'll know. 'til then....

Okay, the "Orient Express" line was creepy, I'll grant the article that point. I just hate the line, "politically correct toys." Y'see, I've got this crazy idea... let's make fun toys. I do think it was a serious article. I think the author is someone who is looking desperately for racial discrimination anywhere he can find it. I also think this person is a moron (Aryan yellow?)

Hell, who cares? Legos haven't been the same since the days of Blacktron, the Space Police, and M-Tron anyway. :-p

The corrections/apology/disclaimer at the end of the article is hilarious. Aryan yellow is an odd term, as Asians are traditionally seen as yellow and Aryans as just white or peach colored. I'd have to agree with Mike that perhaps the author was trying too hard. And how come no one is protesting the African American stereotyping in the little Homies toys you can get from the quarter machines in the lobbies of grocery stores? I think it's friggin hilarious that they'd even do that. Maybe someone is protesting those.

Besides, I prefer the plain blocks Legos, not the ones with people. I'm playing with the blocks right now.

I'm curious about the bill you mentioned. I'm going to try and look the actual bill up later. If it weren't for you, I'd never get into politics.
