Sausage balls. Mmm... Those are always a hit at Christmas parties!
Or you could do the brownies of death- 9x12 package of brownie mix, plus 3 Hershey's Symphony bars. Mix the batter, pour half in the pan. Top with the chocolate bars. Top with the remaining batter and bake per the box directions.
I have never made a sausage ball, I am also not certain I have evereaten one, but I am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
My roommate does this cream cheese chicken ball thing, with Ritz around to dip. It disappears like mad nearly every time he makes it. If ya like, I can get exactly what it is, how to make for ya.
Finally remembered to grab the recipe from my roommate.
Basically....
3 cans of white chicken meat(5 oz I think) 2 sticks of cream cheese 1 package of dry Ranch Dressing Mix(make sure it's not the Ranch Dip)
Drain the chicken meat, let the cream cheese sit at room temp for a couple of hours to soften nicely. Mix the 3 together well, and then put in the fridge covered(probably put some wax paper or such wrapped on top of it, reduce it's contact with air) for at least a few hours(overnight will be fine). Lay out with some Ritz, or whatever else you may think might go well with it.
I was reminded of this website tonight and thought you might find it helpful for your problem. The recipes are pretty non-cook friendly, and it's generally a cool site all around:
