[Max is holding the camera to her pale, sweat-stained face. Her eyes are deep hollows and tinged with red. The electric blue tank top she's wearing has a dark stain growing over her heart, as that's where she'd been shot a little over a year ago. She's breathing hard, and it's clear that each breath hurts like hell.

[Ryohei is picking his way through the mansion, lighting his way with a flame coming from the ring he's wearing. It's not bright, but it will illuminate his immediate surroundings, and probably draw the attention of any geists nearby. He's been lucky not to fun into any so far.

He stops as he sees Max up ahead. He doesn't see the wound in her chest right away because he's not very observant of the dim light.]

[It doesn't take Max long to zero in on a faint light in the distance. Someone didn't listen to her warning. Either that, or someone just missed it. Either way, someone needs to learn a harsh lesson about discipline.]

Ryohei... you should have stayed in your room.

[Her hands balled into fists at her sides, Max continues towards him, her expression stern and steely. He's the enemy, but he should be comparatively weak. It would be pointless to waste her energy by going full throttle on him just yet.]

[He trails off. The way she's approaching him is setting off alarm bells in his head and he tenses. He had missed her warning while he'd been busy getting Hungary out of the mansion. Then he notices the blood on her shirt and the wound in her chest and realizes what's going on. The flame on his ring flares quite a bit brighter and he raises his fists in a defensive stance.]

[Max stops a little distance away from him, surprised. She had thought that he had only had a flashlight, but apparently, Ryohei had a secret weapon up his sleeve. She'd have to adjust her calculations.]

Should've helped yourself, first.

[She suddenly darts towards him, mostly to circle him and close the distance as she gets a better view of what exactly this fire is capable of.]

[Max stops, hearing the sound of the voice coming from the device. She hesitates for a moment, speaking while she's still out of frame.]

I'm just fine. There's plenty you can do, but I don't think you'll like your options.
