i went to my dad's gig last night...

it was in this barn
& there was a bonfire (outside)

it also happened to be my dad's birthday
he is 43 whole years old

i was the only person there under 21

& i played with the band for a song
it made me happy; the people liked it

mum said that me and my dad on stage together was the cutest thing she ever saw

then i came
