Lovely. I love how Gin loses control of the situation and is left wishing things were different.

Thank you! :) I like the idea of Gin's emotional manipulations backfiring on him, so similar to the situation that happened with Hitsugaya/Hinamori/Rangiku (Gin preys on Hitsugaya's affections by threatening Momo but winds up creating a situation where suddenly it's his childhood friend at the end of his sword and he's the one who has to face uncomfortable truths and choices).

I wish I had more time to explore interactions between them. I've been intrigued by the possibilities ever since the scene in the control room where Ulquiorra catches Gin manipulating the corridors to snare and mess with Rukia.
