Hey Manon!! Love the drabble!! It's really sweet! Zutara is also my OTP. There are sparks whenever they are together. And icons love!!
BTW, I was wondering what do you use to make your icons and sigs? Is it Adobe photoshop? I would like to learn how to make icons and sigs but I don't know where to start. I know next to nothing about making them. I need a bit of help.
Hey, Smurfette! Long time, no see! *glomps* I'm glad you liked it. ^_^
I use Adobe Photoshop to make my icons. I used to use Photoshop at work, which is how I learned my way around the program. I was never formally trained, however, and I still go through a lot of trial and error. You may want to poke around for some icon-making communities that post advice for beginners (I've seen groups like this around).
In the meanwhile, as clumsy as my icons are, I'd love to make one for you! Is there anything in particular you would like?
Wow! Thanks Manon for offering to make an icon for me. ^__^ But...the thing is...I'm heavily into Naruto right now. I'm not sure if you know anything about Naruto. hmm...how about this, why not just surprise me? Do whatever you like and surprise me!! Good idea?
You're seriously challenging forthrightly for her title of Fluff-Hime if you keep this up...
My only suggestion would be to keep the flow of 'fire benders and friends from all four nations' by either dropping the 'fire benders' entirely and thereby including them in the 'four nations', or naming all the nations individually and dropping the water nation-specific details. It gives a sense of unity that their wedding symbolizes.
Thank you! I love getting comments from you for this reason: you don't just tell me that something's good, you get technical and tell me how something can be made even better. I really appreciate it!
The firebender reference survives from my earlier drafts of the drabble, in which there was a lot more angst and reservation that Katara was experiencing about marrying into the Fire Nation (memories of her mother's death; guilt; etc.) In the end, I decided that it was getting too heavy for the sweet romantic direction that the drabble was taking so I cut it out to save for another story. I will look closely at that passage again!
Definitely save the angsty bits for a post-engagement, pre-wedding drabble as Ketara wrestles with her past before deciding on her future! I'll look forward to it.
I've enjoyed both of these drabbles very much; like Sess/Rin, you have a way with this pairing.

At least you weren't so optimistic as to have Zuko's Pa and Sis there.
