so i was thinking about that movie jesus camp again this weekend some because i haven't been able to shake it since i watched it. jesus camp is a haunting look into the evangelical subculture of conservative middle america. portrayed with a fair degree of accuracy and without too much editorial bias. jesus camp primarily follows the pentecostal

honestly, jesus camp is one of the scariest things i've ever seen. not only because of the pretty blatent brainwashing, but because its those type of people and that type of publicity that makes everyone think such bad things about christians. which... is extremely unfair, though i think that stuff goes on more than anyone likes to admit. why are the most vocal ones also always the most crazy ones?
