After getting Chris' voicemail, Dean heads over to Hanna's immediately with his quick and dirty medical kit in the Impala's trunk. He grabs the bag out, heads up to the apartment and stands at the door, pounding on it.

"Open up! It's Dean!'

Well, I gotta activate them...and then I need a sling, at least until I can get the staples.

[He moves with his free hand to gently press on the runes, which glow slightly.]

[Dean tromps into the bedroom and snags the first reasonably cleaning smelling shirt off the floor he finds. As he heads back into the main room, he's already ripping at it to make a sling.]

I think I know how to get it in...I can either use a stapler, or just use magic to get it in...

...it's been a while since I've done this. Usually, I'm passed out and Worth is dealing with me.

I'm not sure if they're medical staples or just industrial grade staples...I was sort of out when these were being put in. But I think both could work...
