What is Downal Wyth Bluddy Clichés, you ask?
That... is a Most Excellent question! (^__^)
Well... perhaps you've noticed that (in any fandom) certain aspects of a character or plot devices become "fanon" or staples. Here, I challenge fans (myself included!) to go back to the movie, watch it upside down and under water and from back-to-front, all the while wearing your grandpa's reading glasses, and see what contrariwise ideas occur!
For instance: Do the Hatter or Thackery or Mally ever say they like drinking tea?
*thinks... thinks... thinks...*
Hmm... no. I don't believe they do! (And yet we often assume it's true!)
So, let's reconsider some of these fanon bits and see what sorts of crazy, mad, wonderful ideas result!
REMEMBER: The goal of Downal Wyth Bluddy Clichés is NOT to write Out-of-Character pieces. The GOAL is to take a good, hard look at the canon and come up with something new, interesting, and thought-provoking!
