The Grammys are not like other awards. Fashion? Most of the men just wear t-shirts. Awards? 90% of the winners aren't even shown on the telecast (for the record, Lady GaGa actually won two). And I think you'll agree with me that these Grammy Awards were extra irrelevant since Next to Normal was snubbed for Best Musical Show Album.

The entire show was worth watching just for the Gaga/Elton and P!nk performances. I also kind of enjoyed the Bon Jovi performance.

I'm dreaming too, trust me. Did he just not make the deadline for 2010?

Not even close. I don't think the Idols are ever eligible for the Grammys of the same calendar year they were on the show. The deadline was at the end of August this past year. (Don't ask me to explain how The Fame was eligible when it came out in August of 2008.)
