Literature: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Finished reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum last night.  It was interesting... very different than the movie (which I expected).  I liked the simplicity of it.  There was something said about how Dorothy was a very flat character, but that added feel of the book... which was supposed to be more like Red Riding Hood than Alice in

The rest of the books in the Oz series are awesome.If you liked the first, you might like the rest.

I've been thinking about borrowing or buying the other books. Baum is an interesting author.
