I am a vegetarian, too, which actually can be a good thing. The cutting the calories and increasing the exercise, however, isn't-been there, done that. You body will think it's starving, because you're trying to burn more than you are taking in, so it will store all the fat. Both the 'good' and 'bad' fat. You will actually not lose weight, and you risk passing out. Drop it by like a hundred calories, add in more veggies, less starch, and drink tons of water. It helps a lot more than you would think.
