OMG I JUST MIGHT USE THAT JOKER ICON. IT IS AWESOME.
Also liking your choices for the vamps. (Despite my love for the casting choices. Except for The Queen Of The Damned, though I did quite like Aaliyah as Akasha.)
He's been my Armand since I first saw the movie poster for Fellowship of the Ring years ago. When I saw it, I thought, "Dude. Forget Frodo! Make that boy a vamp!"
I love the way Antonio plays Armand, but he looks NOTHING like how the character is described in the books. Armand is continually compared to a cherub, and, as much as I love Antonio, he doesn't look like that at all.
yeah, but you also have to realize that Ms. Rice kinda sucks. Sure, i've read it all and loved it, but honestly, a cherub-like man who is a seductive and powerful vampire? Meh. Much more interesting if he is dark and beautiful, imho.
But that's exactly why they cast him for the movie. It does make more sense for Armand to look dark and seductive as he is portrayed in that book. But in the later books, he's shown to be a religious fanatic, so I think his look makes perfect sense.
And I agree that Anne Rice is awful. Awesomely awful, though, at least before she went completely batshit.

I don't have much against most of the casting of Twilight and Interview With the Vampire, but, if I controlled the world...:D
