Well, you do carry that Mystic Compass book, and everyone knows that reading that will make you into an athiest-terrorist-murderer-child killer. Duh.
As for Sweeny; wow. I had no idea it was supposed to be like that; i figured it would be a bit dark, but overall light and musical-ish. Now i have to see it sooner :)

See, the play was more campy, but not Python-esque, so I just thought it was really, really weird. The tone was different. It was still dark, but this film was so much more. Granted, there were a lot of funny bits (especially with Sascha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter earlier in the film), but the ending just destroyed me.
