Green seems to be jumping out at me today. I don't know what it is- maybe it's that terrible longing for my plants that sets in every winter. But it's just been everywhere since I left my dorm this morning. I was going to answer you myself, but it got too complicated, so I stole this off of wiki. Its simplistic, but accurate:

"It is composed of mostly water (90% by volume), and contains dissolved proteins, glucose, clotting factors, mineral ions, hormones and carbon dioxide (plasma being the main medium for excretory product transportation)."
