In this world and this society, we kinda have no choice but to sort of pretend to be nice at many times in our lives. Like to customers, clients and sometimes even towards friends.

While you thought that the person closest to you would understand, apparently not so true.

we need to remind ourselves often that our loved ones are like us - just ordinary human beings; they too have their needs and worries, their insecurities and failures, their moods and imperfections .. so it is not so much being "ourselves" or "not our selves", but rather fundamentally, being 'nice people full of love' or 'not so nice people not so full of love'..

I know what u mean. I tot about that. The last 2 phrases got me a bit lost though. Other than that I know what u mean but does that mean we have to often be careful of how we express ourselves?

yes, in all human relationships, we need to take a break and breathe before reacting or acting.

For others, we do it out of common decency and peacefulness, but for our loved ones, we do it out of love.
