XD yess .. it was very exciting. before we found fruits basket all we knew of manga/anime was the word 'japanamation' and anything we could find on the TV. XD

I still think fruits basket is brilliant.. haha. I've been re reading it again also, I recently completed the series.

yeh ... I can see why a lot of people like it. I only have the first 7 volumes ... fruits basket was also the first time I found out what 'spoiler' meant ... because a friend looked up all the plot lines on the internet and told us all ... and it spoilt it ... -__- so then I stopped collecting - because there wasn't really a cliff hanger to keep me reading anymore ... because we'd been told what will happen. (I guess a lot of people have had similar experiences with other things)
