wow how do you manage to draw so much as a daily sketch! >.<; very cool lookin bunch of characters tho - the way you design them seems like the best way to handle it to me. if you stop thinking of the characters as their own people and start just thinking about what happens in the story i would have thought you'd end up with less unique, more stereotypical characters in the end...

I might be a little too technical when I write. it doesn't always feel very creative. like trying to just fill in all the theory stuff I've learned this year. so each character has personality types and things. @_______@ ocd personality designing.

stereotypes in comics is difficult. some of the masters of comics say its an important and useful tool because in a short story theres very little space for explaining an unusual and developed character.... but then I noticed people chatting online are always irritated if the characters are stereotypical. its difficult to know whats the right thing to do.

I think for this group of characters their personality will be clear by things like their body language and how much they talk and the subtleties of whats said. would be interesting to use the story to show these things rather than their visual appearance I guess.

thanks for your lovely comments ^__________^

i don't really like stereotypical or archetypal characters at all - i much prefer a character to just act like his/her-self, even in a short story (if the story is written well enough i don't think the character would come across as over-developed, but then i'm not a master of comic writing XD )

and no worries XD
