I'm loving Jumping the Shark atm :)
And that's interesting, do you really have a button phobia? (or is it a joke?) Apologies if you don't want to talk about it, I ask since I have a phobia to the point where I have to avoid what I'm scared of (compared to some who say they have a 'phobia' but I find they are not fearful of whatever it is to the extent I am), so I'm just interested in how other people react to their own phobias.

Thanks :)

I guess its a phobia. and I read somewhere its common one to have? but I think for me it manifests itself in more of an absolute hatred of them. I think they're really ugly things too. and it really really bothers me when they're placed in the center of an area. I remember drawing pictures when I was little and drawing the buttons in because I liked to draw lots of details but then absolutely hating how the drawing looked afterward.

my mum gets cross with me when I have to buy clothes. for years I refused to wear any trousers with any buttons on them (which is a difficult thing to find). I now wear trousers with a top button - as long as I can wear a belt to cover it so I can't see most the time. ^^;

belly buttons bother me in the same way ... but it means I can't watch a lot of cartoons with main characters that have belly buttons on show. :(

Thats really interesting! Yeah, I actually know someone else who has a phobia of buttons, he doesnt wear clothes with buttons either, or hesitantly does if he has to.

Bring a t-shirt with you to your graduation so that you can change right afterwards ;) I'm pretty sure those weird black graduation cloaks you have to wear will cover up the buttons on a shirt, I think 0_o
