This translation may be my masterpiece.

It is truly a thing of beauty, and thus I hate to say this, but: don't you think "an earlier incident" sounds better than "the earlier incident"?

I'll take Japanese's (English's?) side on this one... "the earlier incident" sounds better to me, because everyone would know which incident he's referring to. "an" sounds like he's trying to keep the reference intentionally vague, which would be peculiar. (If you really want smoother English, maybe "the recent incident"?)

At the time these interviews were published, the android saga had just completed, right? Volume 10 hadn't come out yet, I think.
