Title: Being Sick
Pairings/Characters: Ohno/Jun
Rating: PG
Warnings: Vomiting
Notes: I just realized that all my Arashi fics always involve Ohno in some way O_O
Summary: Arashi's fishing leader isn't feeling so good...

Ohno Satoshi, leader of Arashi, was currently doing his best to keep his breakfast from making a second appearance on the wooden floor.

All the Arashi members were rehearsing for their newest song- which they would perform on a music show in about thirty minutes. They were in their dressing room and going over the final steps for the song.

"Okay, so while the staff will be preparing the set that we'll go on, we should be backstage and ready to go in..." Ohno tried to concentrate on what Jun was trying to tell them, but Ohno felt like he was underwater and the rest of what Jun was saying was just a bunch of gurgling.

Ever since waking up that morning, Ohno had been feeling like he was hit by a truck. His head was aching and felt like a boxer had used it as a punching bag. His nose stung with every breath he took and his throat felt so dry despite all the water he had forced himself to drink.

He felt so bad that he just wanted to cuddle into bed and lie there all day, but in the back of his mind he knew that he couldn't. He was an idol and idols couldn't afford to take sick days.

Groaning, he had forced himself out of bed, dressed, forced some toast into his stomach and left for the studio. He soon regretted his choice as his sickness became worst as time went by.

'I shouldn't have eaten the toast' Ohno moaned to himself internally. As the song started up again, Ohno was cursing the choreographer of the song- why did they have to move so much? Why couldn't they sing to a song like Dear Snow or Your Eyes, something that didn't require dancing?

During the first chorus of the song, Ohno was struggling to keep his dance steps clean. He could feel his legs wobble when he bent them and his head was swimming with every turn he made.

Apparently some of the Arashi members noticed their leader's off moves as well when Sho commented, "Ohno-kun, you missed a step there." During this practice, even if a member made a mistake they agreed to just point it out but to keep dancing till the end.

"Careful, oji-chan. Wouldn't want you to break a hip or something." Nino teased as the second verse started. Ohno couldn't comment back as he was desperately trying to swallow back the bile that kept rising up his throat.

As the song was ending, Ohno could feel his restraint breaking. Trying his best to hold on, he forced himself look calm as the other three members made a smiley face in their dance. 'Everything's fine...everything's fine...' Ohno repeated in his mind, as he to walked towards Sho during the 'heart' part of the song.

But soon, he knew that everything was not fine as he stood still for the part where they would place their hand on their chest briefly before raising it up slowly. To Ohno's horror, standing still like that made the dizziness more intense and he could no longer hold on.

"Urghh....." Ohno groaned as he soon saw his breakfast and even last night's dinner on the floor and on his shoes. Hearing the members yells of shock around him, Ohno stayed bent down, unable to lift his head as he continued to retch out whatever was in his stomach.

He could feel tears rolling down his head as he kept gagging. Every time he tried to open his mouth to apologize, a new stream of vomit would come out instead.

His stomach started to hurt really bad as it ran out of food to pump out and now all that was coming out was mucus and saliva. He felt some his group members patting his back as they tried to reassure him that everything would be alright and to just let it all out.

After a few minutes, Ohno's gagging finally stopped as he now began coughing, holding his aching stomach. "S-sorry..." He moaned, pitifully as he looked at the mess beneath him.

"No, no leader. You didn't do anything wrong." Aiba reassured him, putting a comforting arm around him as support. Sho had left the room, probably to notify someone of the situation.

"Why didn't you tell us you weren't feeling well?" Jun lightly scolded, carefully trying to take Ohno's soiled shoes off and replace them with some slippers.

"I'm not sick." Ohno mumbled uselessly, the embarrassment of what he had just done started to hit him.

Nino snorted. "You're not sick? Yeah, try telling that to the oatmeal-looking puddle over there." He pointed his thumb at the mess that started to spread on the floor.

Sho came back into the room, with a guy who was probably there for clean up as he had a mop and cleaning supplies on hand. "I told the staff that Ohno wasn't feeling well. They've suggested letting him rest for now and moving our performance at the closing of the show. He doesn't need to be there during the talk but if he feels better, he can perform later." Sho informed them. He turned to Ohno with concerned eyes. "What do you think? Can you handle it?"

Ohno nodded, as the others brought him to one of the sofas nearby for him to rest on. He leaned against Jun as the younger one fixed his pillows. The other three members decided to give them some space as they left the room.

As soon as his head hit the pillow, Ohno automatically started coughing uncontrollably and sat up again.

"Careful," Jun murmured, as he held Ohno close to him as he rubbed his back. The dizziness hit Ohno when he sat up too fast which made him start gagging again. Thankfully, he had vomited everything he had inside him earlier so now only air and a bit of saliva was coming out.

As his gagging subsided, Jun helped him to slow lay lay back down again. Jun added two more pillows so Ohno wouldn't be lying flat on his back. Ohno breathed deeply, trying to will the nausea away.

"I'm sorry." Ohno mumbled, not wanting to open his mouth too much in case a cough would escape through.

"There's nothing to be sorry about." Jun assured him as he sat on the floor near Ohno. "How long have you been feeling sick?"

Ohno thought about it for a while, just enjoying the feel of Jun's hands as he ran them through his hair. "I've been feeling more tired than usual for a few weeks now, but I've only started feeling really sick since I woke up this morning."

They were both quiet, just listening to the crew members shouting outside the door, probably gathering all the performers together. Ohno looked at Jun as he said, "You should go. I'll be there for the performance later."

Jun furrowed his eyebrows, looking worried. "Maybe you should take it easy-"

"No!" Ohno yelled, cutting him off. Unfortunately, this caused his headache to worsen and his coughs started up again. After he calmed down again, Jun decided to give him some medicine that he always carried with him everywhere.

"Satoshi, calm down." Jun told him. "You're as sick as a dog right now. Do you really believe you can perform in your condition right now?"

Ohno wanted to nod, but refrained from doing it as he knew his dizziness would worsen again. "I can! I want to do it- I need to do it. After everything I've done-" Ohno started coughing once again (Jun started to worry that Ohno's lungs would burst soon) and had to stop talking.

Jun gave him a confused look. "'After everything you done?' What have you done?"

Ohno turned away from him, staring at the sofa instead. "I've caused you....all of you trouble these past weeks." He whispered slowly, not wanting to cause another reaction. He knew about the rumors that we're going on because of him. He tried to ignore it (especially since the rumor came out while they had their recent concert), but it still hurt knowing how he disappointed/angered his fans. How it caused so much backlash on his group. How it caused his agency more work to figure a way to get out of the mess HE made.

The stress that he accumulated since the rumor came out must have finally exploded on him that day. And of course, it had to be on the day where he had to work and perform live.

It was all his fault. He really was useless.

"Hey, leader..." Ohno unwillingly looked at Jun but the other was looking up at the ceiling. "You look up too." Jun ordered him, keeping his eyes up.

Ohno slowly moved his head to look up. He noted nothing special about the white ceiling he was now staring at.

"What do you see?" Jun asked him. Ohno frowned as he stared up above.

"A ceiling."

He couldn't practically feel the smile on Jun's lips at his reply. "Is there anything else?" Jun questioned again.

"No. Nothing." Ohno replied, not getting where Jun was going with this.

Jun hummed as he snuggled close to Ohno, laying his arm gently on Ohno's midsection for comfort as he kept looking up. "When I feel stressed out from work or anything, I usually like to stare up at nothing. I learned that it usually clears my mind."

Ohno realized that Jun was right. The more his mind focused on the nothing of the ceiling, he felt it unwind and his nausea had lessened. It was like all his worries didn't matter- it turned into nothing...just like the ceiling above him. He could feel his eye lids getting more heavy as he started to yawn.

"You know, we don't blame you for anything." Jun told him nonchalantly, resting his chin on Ohno's arm. "We've all been through our share of rumors as well. Yes, this rumor came at the worse possible time ever but that's just how life goes. You're not doing anything wrong so don't take it out on yourself. You have nothing to be blamed for."

Ohno's eyes started to flutter close, glad that the tears he started to get from Jun's words were trapped, preventing them from falling.

"None of us know the truth from the rumors, but when you're ready to tell us, we'll listen. But just know that whatever happens the members will be there for you. Most, if not all, of our fans will back you up. Remember what I said during the concert- I looked to see the fans reactions about Arashi and I know that we will always be supported. You are never alone. You are well loved, leader."

Feeling more relaxed than he had in weeks, Ohno could feel his mind slowly slip into unconsciousness. He could barely hear what Jun was saying at the end- he was so far gone already.

That's why he didn't know if he was dreaming or not when he felt what could be a pair of soft lips on his forehead.

And he definitely wouldn't be able to remember if he heard the words, "I'll always be there. I'll love you no matter what." Being softly spoken...
