You've really captured Feanor's drive here, and when /I couldn't sense you/ comes out, it's says everything about his character, that even though Maglor is a hero in his own right, Feanor felt that he, Feanor, ought to know /everything/ about his son, control him by simply knowing where he was and what he was doing all the time. Really good use of their names for each other, too!
