Whew, life gets crazy sometimes; I had planned this to be up over a week ago :p  Anyway, continuing on.

he knows that he can't ask anyone else to share the pain of this decision, so he makes it for them, despite the difficulty. It's still something he struggles with though, which is why he lashes out when his motives are questioned. And then the aftermath of that fight... oh god, I still cry every time, especially this exchange:This. ;_; So well put, and I hadn't really thought it through for myself, having watched through everything so quickly, but that does sum up one of the elements that makes that whole sequence one of the most tear-jerking parts of the whole anime for me ( ... )

Well, if nothing else, I hope I can provide some interesting food for thought during your re-read =)

And yes, I can't wait to write up Zoro's article; I find him to be quite fascinating.
