I think I might need to make Objection Dance into an iconsara_tanaquilJune 26 2011, 22:06:21 UTC
Yay, thank you! I had picked up a lot of that, but now I'll know which parts of the manga to go back and read more closely.
When they were entering the Grand Line, the attack on the ship by some former enemy (don't remember now who it was) -- that didn't happen in the manga, did it? I was only skimming at that point, but I didn't see it.
That's really sad that they stopped animating the cover arcs because of bad ratings. As it happens, I didn't care much for the Little Buggy or Coby/Helmeppo bits in the anime (though Little Buggy was kind of funny), but the Jango and Hachi stories would have been awesome. (And it really is confusing to have Jango and Fullbody just suddenly show up in the Marines on Hina's ship, what?)
WHY is Hachi, the octopus, obsessed with making takoyaki?? I seriously reread those frames about three times thinking "He can't really be eating octopus... CAN HE?" That is just creepy cannibalistic.

And yeah, some of the Cover Arcs would be awesome to see animated - some of the future ones in particular would be super sweet.
Re: Hachi; oh, I know^^ It's funny, but still - WTH?
