1: Great use of textures & coloring! The polaroid idea works well to frame the characters and give the text a background so it's easy to read. Nice color choices overall and good overall balance. The line stitching and red dot are simple, but do a lot to balance out the slant of the polaroid.
2 - The coloring is pretty, the characters are cropped well, and the sun beams and splash of lighter color really draw attention to the subject. A great icon!
2 The negative space works very well with this icon and better texture use than the other icon.
2 - I really love both of these, but I must say that number 02 really draws my attention. The bright colors make the icon fun and inviting! Number 01 is really pretty, and the colors are interesting, but the way the characters are used makes it feel just a bit sqeezed in. However, this is still a beautiful icon! Lovely job <3 ( ... )

#01 While not as bright as the other icon, I think it works well in combination with the photo format used and the theme invoked by the text.
02: I love how the icon looks yellow with the background ties with the image color tone, and the glowing texture in the middle is also great that attracts me the most
1 - I feel 1 has a little more emotion and I like that it's skewed. It kind of adds to the emotion and it goes with the damage mentioned in the quote. Whereas with 2 I feel the background washes out the image itself a little.
1 - These are both really amazing icons, but out of the two I'd say 1 is just a little more creative. The crop is very unique, in both positioning and the part of the image you see. Love the texture and the photograph bits. I love 2's colors, placement, and texture, but it's just a tad under 1.
