ROUND 03; [VOTING] (Neo)Romantic Matchmaker
Hello all!
Submissions for the Round 03: (Neo)Romantic Matchmaker are now officially closed.
Unfortunately, Cho Hakkai (mizugazipan) did not submit, and since they had already used up their skip in the previous round, they had to be eliminated from the competition. Sorry! :( I hope you'll join us in the next round?
We had 2 confirmed skips, and 2 participants couldn't submit in time, for a total of 4 skips this round. For those who skipped: keep in mind that you've used up your only skip, and won't be allowed to skip again! Also, participants who skipped will not win or lose points, and won't get eliminated this round.
This means we got 35 out of 40 possible submissions - and a grand total of 98 icons!
Voting isn't obligatory, but HIGHLY recommended, especially for participants in the competition - a single vote could earn you more points, after all!
Voting Rules
- Do not vote for yourself, neither as a favorite nor as an elimination, and do not create duplicate accounts to vote for yourself, or ask people to vote for you.
- Only one vote per person. Only vote for each icon once.
- You must give a reason for your eliminations. The mods reserve the right to nullify any petty votes (i.e. "I don't like the character" or "I don't like the colors"). Giving a reason for your favorite votes is highly encouraged, but not necessary.
- You may leave general comments to icons without voting for them. These comments will not count for tallying, but they'll be handed out to the iconmakers with their critiques.
- Vote fairly, and based on the aesthetic quality rather than your personal preferences. Disliking the character/series/artwork is not a valid reason to give an elimination vote - you're voting for an icon, not for the image chosen.
- Make sure you've picked the right numbers for your votes! The number of the icon is above it on the voting table. We'll try to check every vote to make sure it matches the icon, but please be careful!
- You do not need to be a participating member to vote. Anyone can vote, so please vote and encourage others to do the same!
Voting Format
Votes must be submitted to this post.
You must pick the specified number of eliminations for each group of icons, for a total of 6 eliminations. That's 1 elimination for each group.
You must give reasons for your eliminations.
You must also pick a total of 10 favorites, and again, the specified number of favorites for each group. That's 2 favorites for Girls #1, Girls #3, Boys #2 and Boys #3; and 1 favorite for Girls #2 and Boys #1.
You don't need to give a reason for your favorites, though people generally appreciate it.
Vote order DOES count!! Make SURE you list your icons in order of priority (as seen below). This means your top icon must be the icon you think is the most deserving of being eliminated/getting people's choice out of all your picks, and the bottom icon will be the least deserving of eliminations/favorites out of your picks.
If you want to keep your icons out of order, make sure you add a priority rating to your votes. Votes without priority ratings will have the order taken into consideration.

#101 (priority: 1) - The colors are overly contrasted and clash greatly. The image is also a bit oversharpened, and the textures are distracting.
