The Dead Zone

One of the few things I dislike about my job is that between the hours of 1AM and 3AM there is virtually nothing to do. I mean, by this time of night even the crazy people who have been yelling for the first 6 hours I was here have fallen asleep. What this translates to is as follows ( Read more... )

Where do you work now?

Also I'd purge my friends list cause I don't read everyone's journals anymore either. However if I do they'd get all pissy, and start messaging me, or asking me when they see me, "Why'd you take me off you're friends list?" or they'd just act pissy towards me when they see me next. Which I find funny seeing how they don't even read my journal. Hell I don't read my journal. It's just writings, so in the future I can actually remember the shit I've done in my life cause my memory sucks ass.

Not wierd, HUMAN. What do you THINK about has got to be the hardest question on the face of the planet to answer. No matter who's answering the question, it will be different for everyone involved. For instance... Dylan Thomas, when asked that question by a BBC reporter, stated "I think of God and death and triangles."
So thinking about everything under the sun is nothing new. Besides. Look at this way. You could have MY brain, which concentrates mainly on sex and pleasure. It's not fun. Especially when yummy is RIGHT OVER THERE... *sigh*

Haha... I see what you mean. Although I must say that the thoughts of sex and pleasure are definitely there, just not at work. I mean geez... I work around dying people all night long (not the biggest turn on).

And unfortunately, I'm not attracted to any of my coworkers on that level since they amount to nothing but women with the exception of the 60 year old gay guy. In terms of patient family members and the guys who work on the third floor... that's a whole different ball game.

The irony here is that in the midst of all this I consider obtuse concepts like theology and astronomy. Anthropology, sociology, psychology, and so on.

I guess I'm just way too fuckin' weird.

If you thought that was weird, you haven't met me :)
