I'd also just do a google search for the order of the two famous ones, the Ellsmere manuscript (the Riverside Chaucer uses this order) and the erm...Hengwrt i think it's called... I'm guessing you won't need to see the actual texts, but just get a good idea of the order. Poke me if you need help. I'm doing my PhD in medieval lit.
Yeah... the idea for the essay is to argue for one of the other orders since the text for the class was the Riverside. Hence, we apparently aren't allowed to agree with the Ellesmere ordering, but must argue in favor of one of its opponents. Very annoying.
