I have voted for Rachel (and two random other people after her), but I don't actually know what wing walking is. I am happy to reblog, but if you could satisfy my curiosity, that would be great.
That's great - thank you so much. Wing walking is walking on the wing of a plane...whilst in flight!
I'm not too bad, thanks. Have just started a new job and it's been pretty frantic all round for a few years now. That's why I mostly lurk nowadays - very limited time for anything else, what with the 12 hour days plus an hours travel to and from the office on top!
I'm hoping oe day to make it out your way and of course hoping that you'll make it back to London at some point - would be great to see you. :)
Oh dear God, THAT'S what wing-walking is????!!!!!????!!!!! I think Rachel needs her head examined, but have reblogged.
Congrats on the new job, but yikes, 14 hour days including commute don't exactly leave you with much downtime. I'd be lurking too.
I'm actually tentatively planning to come out either the first week of June or the first week of September 2016, so next year. Spend a week in London staying with rellies and a week travelling in Scotland. So if my tentative plans turn into reality and you're around at the time, we could do dinner and a play or something. And of course, if you ever make it to Vancouver, dinner's on me. We're having a very mild winter, I'm almost embarrassed to admit. Unlike the rest of North America and unlike most of Europe.
Oh, I don't know...I think the wing walking sounds like fun. *adrenaline junkie*
I should be around in June although may not be in September - the plans aren't firmed up on as yet but with any luck I'll be around whenever you're over. And if I am, would love to meet up!
Winter here in London really hasn't been too bad so far, a bit nippy at times but nothing horrendous.
I don't know if you're still on lj - I never look at it anymore except when I get bday alerts. Happy day to you! It's trying times all over and the USA is a now a Third World Country. Hopefully, you're doing well :) All my best!
Just received your comment - looks like LJ is playing up again. I'm still here but pretty much lurk. I've aso got a DW account under mandragora if you're there, as well?
Many thanks for the birthday wishes; much appreciated. I agree that it's (very) trying times, deeply worrying all round.
