Moore is far more a real patriot than many who put flags outside their houses or cars

Honestly, I think the true patriots are the dissenters. This country was founded upon people who were, by today's standards, "UnAmerican" because they stood up and said, "no, this is bullshit!", and did something to fix it. People who just stand around and blindly accept things as they are, no questions asked, aren't doing America any good.

Questioning your country doesn't make you bad; it means you care for your country, want the best for it and are willing to stand up and do the job to see that it gets done.

Man, I love me some Michael Moore.

Gods, yes! I got his letter this morning in my email, and every time I see a letter from him, I get excited. The guy has balls to do and say what he does, and if I were American, I'd probably love him all the more.
I've always been outspoken and never done what society says we must do (have babies, date men, get married, go to university and have the same career for the rest of your life, go to church, etc.), and this guy is someone I can understand - we speak the same language, and I'm not referring to English.

I love him because he's one of us. He speaks the same language, he lives the same lifestyle. He knows what it's like to be the little guy -- he wasn't born with a shitpile of money and a rich, famous daddy to get him in the door. He found the door himself and crashed right through it.

Michael Moore, he's got it all; brains, balls and chops.

I seriously want to hug the man right now. I have a whole new stockpile of ammunition when Republican nay-sayers come my way.

Disagree with me all you like, it don't bother me none. Michael isn't for everybody, but he just happens to be for me. Does he get a little excessive at times? Hell yes. I've seen his films, he's pretty in-your-face in some moments where it's probably not appropriate. Bottom line: I appreciate his message and the fact he has balls enough to state it to any and everyone. I think that's pretty cool in a person regardless of their political affiliation/whatnot.

But I have to say this; how could you not laugh at a big fat dude who hijacks an ice cream truck in D.C. and circles the White House reading the Patriot Act through the truck's speaker system? You don't have to like the guy, but dammit, most people would laugh at that. I did... I did until I pissed my pants! :)

Man. That was just what I needed. Love him or hate him, he knows what he's talking about, and thank God he's not afraid to say it.

Is that a Coupling icon? If it is, may I have sex with it? You'd be invited to join, of course.

I don't always 100% agree with Michael's message or the way he goes about expressing it, but I do admire him for stating his opinion, as unpopular as it can be. That's pretty impressive. I happen to agree with him here, obviously. :)
