I don't know why I get to this, but somehow my brain associates this to hunger strike when someone wants to protest against something. People refer something to themselves and turn it into self-destruction instead of dealing with those people which actually do the harm. Saying, this circle doesn't make sense to me, thinking if you punish and damage yourself for an injustice that other people have done that it will make correct it. Actually the system must cheer when they do this because it means one eater less at the table.
