[ Helen is out and about Old Town District, getting a few things that she needs to start preparing for the holidays. While she doubts that Mandalus will celebrate the traditions of Earth, she's certain that the people who come from Earth will be celebrating them. This means, for Helen, that she'll be baking. Of course, she'll also be continuing her ( Read more... )

[Oh, hey, Jo's been meaning to talk to her and say thank you, and...she figures while the doctor is out would be a good time. She pockets her list of things to buy today and heads over.]

Doctor?

[ Helen's attention turns to Jo and she nods. ]

Hello, Jo. Are you feeling any better?

Yeah. I'm... [Back at the top of her game.] A lot better.

I just wanted to say thanks for the help, since I saw ya out and about. It was very nice of you.

Good. I'd hate to see you trapped inside during the upcoming holidays. Assuming Mandalus even celebrates them. [ She's beginning to think that they don't. There's been no decorations in the city since the day of the dead. ]

There's hardly a need to thank me. I'm rather surprised that Dean brought you to me out of all people.

[The god is in a hurry. It's very clear the way he's jogging, almost running, down the sidewalk, messenger bag held close to his side to keep from bouncing and swinging as he moved. Loki was trying to mind where he stepped, who he dodged and what needed to be avoided. Alas, as usual, luck was not on the trickster's side and he tripped, arms flailing a bit as he tried to steady himself only to smack into a woman's back, lurching backwards to avoid knocking her to the ground, he (as gracefully as possible) fell to the ground instead.]

Ah! Forgive me!

[ And this is what happens when two people don't pay attention. Helen stumbles forward, turning to look at who it was that so rudely bumped into her. Instead of being angry, however, he simply receives a very stern motherly look. Then she holds her hand out to help him up. ]

It's quite alright. You're the one who ended up falling, in the end. Are you alright?

[The little god gave a sigh, digging in his back to make sure the delivery he had was still safe and sound before glancing up, staring at the extended hand for a moment.] I am fine. Much more durable than I look I assure you. [Loki paused before taking Helen's hand, using it as leverage to get to his feet again.]

That's good to hear. [ She helps him up on his feet and nods to him. ] May I ask where you were off to in such a hurry?

Video

Dr. Magnus, when you said to go through the holiday boxes, did you mean all of these?

[Because there are so many boxes and she wasn't left anyone to help her!]

video;

[ She pulls the phone out and answers the video call. ]

It may have been better to narrow it down to the ones you find interesting. Although, if you do find the box that has Victorian print on the side? I'd appreciate it if you put it in my office.

These are all kind of interesting.

[There's a lot of history here.]

What kind of print?

I've had quite a long time to collect them all.

[ Those are just the one sin that one room too, Raven. ]

The typical wallpaper print.

[Have an irritable old assassin, dropping down from a nearby roof and adjusting his hood, his gaze a little stern as he searches the area, though it takes only a second for his eyes to set on a shining blue beacon in the dark, an ally, and someone he can't but smile for. He approaches, after a moment to just look at her, and appreciate everything she is. Beautiful, certainly, but so strong and so smart, and he wonders sometimes how they ever got so close when she is so very out of his league, though he feels the same about Sofia.]

Ciao, Helen. [And he leans to kiss her cheek in greeting.]

[ Irritable old assassin? Well, we'll simply need to fix that. Won't we? A smile spreads on her face before she even looks up from her phone. ]

Salute, Ezio. [ Then she finally looks up and tries her hardest not to look like a silly school girl. ]

Are you well, amore?

[Let him follow you for the day, like a lost old dog. He's missed being with you more often.]

Well enough. It's always busy this time of year, even in an alien city. Who knew?

[ She shrugs, but motions with her head for him to follow her. Tailing mission. ]

I'd ask if you are alright, but I can tell what the answer would be if I did. So, what's wrong?

[Carrying a few things in her arms, mostly books, though she has a new dress over one arm and a bag of groceries over the other, Mary Margaret is barely paying attention to anything but the list she has on top of her stack of books, and she blinks up only in time to nearly walk right into Helen.]

Oh! I'm so sorry... I wasn't looking where I was going.

[ Thankfully, Helen noticed before Mary Margaret and holds her hands out to help steady the amount of things the woman is carrying. ]

We all have days like that. [ She glances over the items. ] Do you need help with any of these? They look as if they're about to fall out of your hands.

Oh, I wouldn't want to trouble you. [She smiles warmly, but manages to offer her hand, using her chin to balance her books.]

It's nice to meet you, I'm Snow-- Ah, Mary Margaret.

It's hardly any trouble. I have both my arms free. [ She says this as she tucks the tablet in it's case over her shoulder. ]

Dr. Helen Magnus. It's a pleasure, Mary. Or do you prefer Mary Margaret? [ Helen caught the 'Snow' there, but doesn't ask it. ]
