[It has taken a lot of figuring out, and a lot of work, but Thor is sure he's found out how to create a video post. He needs to speak to several people, as it happens, and he would like more answers about this world, not that he thinks anyone will really have any answers yet. He knows it's been a few days, it's Wednesday now, and it seems they are

[Tony's lounging on the couch in his own apartment, munching on a slightly stale cupcake. Yeah, he stole a bunch from that 'Mother' lady when they first arrived at the train station, what of it.]

What's crackalackin', big guy?

[Thor gives you the most uncertain look at that comment, Tony. What does that even mean?]

I... thought perhaps we should speak, as a group. I know there are others from our worlds. [He pauses.] Have you heard of a place known as Aliunde?

[ironfail]

[Tony doesn't look concerned. Thor should've learned all the Earth lingo in the short amount of time he was there, come on.]

Aliunde? Never heard of it. Where is it?

[flipsalltables]

[A few days every year or so does not make for long enough study time in Earth words.]

I do not know, but several people have claimed to know me from there. [He shakes his head a little.] My friend, Darcy Lewis, spoke of knowing you as well, and another called Link speaks of Pepper and us all living together.

[ironfail]

[Tony scowls.] Lewis? Isn't she one of the girls involved in that whole New Mexico fiasco? How the hell does she know me. And I've never met any Links before, at least not that I remember. [Maybe he slept with them. It's a possibility.] Maybe they're all just crazy.

[flipsalltables]

Yes, she is. Along with Jane Foster. Erik Selvig was there, that is where he and I first met. [How does anyone not know you, Tony? Even Thor is aware of the fact you are ridiculously famous. But he understands the actual meaning.] Perhaps, but they are not the only ones. Others claim to be from this realm.

[ironfail]

[Okay everyone knows him but not a lot of people know him, it's all in the inflection.] So what's this mean? There's clones of us in another universe or something?

[flipsalltables]

Or an alternate universe. Or even our memories being toyed with. There are many possibilities.

[ironfail]

I guess the important question is why? [Tony's pretty impressive, sure, but it's still weird. He'd almost be willing to accept the alternate universe theory though.]

[flipsalltables]

They say we are to defend this realm. I know not their true reason. Perhaps that is their true reason, and perhaps that is why the... other versions of us were in that other realm. [He frowns. This is getting complicated and he's not a scientist. Realms are easily talked about, alternate universes are something far more out of his field.]

[ironfail]

We're not good enough alone, they had to have multiples of us? [Which, okay, makes a little bit of sense. But Tony's not that kind of scientist either, this is not his area of expertise. He sighs loudly, letting his head drop back against the armrest of his couch.] For once I'm actually wishing for a ransom note.

[flipsalltables]

Or perhaps it is mind-wiping, as I suggested. [Which is a very violating idea and he doesn't want to even think about it.] Kidnapping does seem favourable to this.

[ironfail]

[Tony makes a face at that.] It better not be. Nobody touches my memories but me. [If anyone was going to fuck up his head, he'd at least like to be able to take the blame for it.] Still technically kidnapping. Just without the intent of putting us back.

[flipsalltables]

And if it is, we cannot change it. Neither option is favourable, but all of us have been influenced by unpleasant magic before. [After all, the staff Loki had made all of them behave weirdly, it was only Bruce who lost control properly without being touched by it.] Theft, then, not unlawful borrowing. Whatever we wish to call it, we need to find a way out of it. We need allies, as you and I are low in them.

[ironfail]

I don't know about allies, but I can certainly schmooze us some potentially helpful acquaintances. Assuming whoever theoretically mind-wiped us didn't also mess with my abundant charm.

[flipsalltables]

It would seem your charm is intact. [And your arrogance, but he won't add that.] I have possible allies for us, and a scientist that will be able to work with you. Her name is Jane Foster. She studies the stars and the sky, she may know a way to get us out.
