[The audio comes into life and the usually smooth Italian voice is, instead, rough and breathless. Ezio's breathing is shallow and ragged, and it takes some time for him to finally be able to talk, but it doesn't make much sense.]

Ezio. Ezio. Stai bene? Sono sulla mia strada alla villa. [ A good thing that the Sanctuary has a few motorcycles (that aren't Ashley's) that she can use. It's quicker than a car or the van. She leaves a message for Kate, Henry and Will that she has an urgent matter on her hands and she'll return as soon as possible. ]

Then perhaps Claudia is smarter than you know it. [ Helen just frowns at him. She's extremely worried about his health. He's aging, and not getting younger. Yet, he acts like he's twenty-four and runs around all the bloody time. Eventually his body is going to just give in from the strain. ] For now? Bed rest. And I don't mean the kind with me.

Claudia is a fussy nag. [He loves his sister, and feels a little bad saying that without her here to defend herself but he supposes it's not that bad. It's true, after all.] Si, fine. I will rest.

It seems like you need a "fussy nag" in your life. [ There's a roll of her eyes. Now he's just being a child. ] And I don't want you doing anything that is going to put a strain on your body.

Accidenti. I had thought I had managed long enough in my life without someone to fuss over me. [He gives her a light and playful smile.] Mi dispiace, amore, I do not mean to worry you.

Apparently you haven't. Especially if you need a woman as old as me to do it. [ She gives him a look before closing her eyes and shaking her head. ] Worrying is part of caring.

Si, si, I know. You're right. [But he doesn't have the energy to argue anything else, and just settles into the bed more, curling his hand around hers comfortably.]

[ Her fingers curl around his. Helen looks down at him and gives him an apologetic smile after a moment. ] We should give you a physical after you've recovered. We might be able to help your health somehow, despite your age.

[Ezio gives her a little smirk, but it's a tired and worn expression that wins out and he nods a little, resting down comfortably.] If you think you can do something about it all, then alright.
