...I've never heard of someone who genuinely kidnapped a person for their own good. How do we know we can actually trust them?

...I have. [His little brother was kidnapped, stolen, for his own good. It just would have been easier if they'd known that.] We may not be able to trust these people but the city itself deserves to be saved, does it not?

Clamouring for a way home, arguing that we should not stay, do these things not suggest that we are intending to leave it without helping?

None of us belong here. That does not mean we'll neglect to defend ourselves if something happens.

I know well that none of us belong here, but our own worlds are threatened by whatever is to lay siege on this world.

I have doubts as well, Miss Potts. I also do not have judgements to pass before knowing the truth.

The truth is we were taken from our homes without permission.

And that is only part of the truth. We do not know whether there is a threat to all worlds or not. After recent events in your own realm, would you not even give this second thought?

I feel that if they actually cared for the well-being of our worlds they would have left us there to deal with the threat.

We will not know until the moment comes to pass. Do not fear, if there is a way home, it will be found, and I will still continue to aid in finding that way of returning for those that desire it.

What do you wish for me to do, Miss Potts? If this world is endangered, I will not leave it. Not until it is safe.

If that is how it turns out to be, then we will return to our homes. I do not suggest we simply stop trying to find a way home. I will help to secure that for us.
