I'm not sure I can agree with your pick in ties, Mr. Stark.

[ Against her better judgement, Selina decided to saunter over to Tony. If anything she really wants to see if he's a stuck up, selfish, playboy billionaire. Nice dinners and promises to share technology didn't really mean much to Selina in proving the trust aspect. ]

[He laughs, turning to smile at Selina.]

What, don't like the color combination?

It's not very festive.

[ She smirks at him. ]

Would you have preferred jolly little Santas and dancing snowmen? [He probably has a tie like that somewhere. He'll wear it for her to the next party.]

Or at least something red and green. You can't tell me Ms. Potts doesn't have something like that for you in your huge closet.

[ Selina would honestly rather avoid Tony every chance she can. He brings back too many thoughts about Gotham. Even if he doesn't mean to. ]

Pepper would be the first in line to burn all the tacky holiday ties I own, trust me.

[ Selina shrugs. She figured Tony was the type for tacky holiday gear. Including blinking antlers. ]

Which is exactly why I wore red. Or, maybe, I just wanted the attention. Which answer would you like better, Mr. Stark?

[Only if it annoys other people. Basically Pepper.]

Oh you don't need to wear red to get people's attention. [Grinning, he holds out his hand and nods toward the dance floor.] Care to help me make everyone here insanely jealous?

[ It's always Pepper. ]

I'll take that as a compliment. [ She takes Tony's hand, probably against her better judgement. Still, if he's going to be a business partner? She needs to work with him. ] I don't think you'll make anyone jealous. They're too busy kissing under the mistletoe.

[To be fair, she's just so easy to annoy.]

That's good, it was meant to be one. [He leads her onto the dance floor, one of her hands in his and his other hand on her waist as they easily fall in step with the other dancers.] I'm sure we can still turn a few heads, mistletoe or no.

[ She really, really is. ]

[ Selina playfully rolls her eyes and shakes her head. ] I almost think they'd be used to seeing you with a new girl every dance, Mr. Stark.

Hey, sometimes I mix it up and toss in a new guy every once in a while. [He laughs, spinning Selina just a little faster than necessary so her gown twirls outwards around her.] But you're definitely the kind of dance partner that's guaranteed to catch everyone's eye.

[ The gown twirls around her legs, and Selina moves back towards him. She rolls her eyes ever so slightly. ] Don't go getting any ideas. I wouldn't want to make your girlfriend jealous.

I promise any and all ideas are completely well-intentioned. Besides, something tells me you wouldn't care a single bit if you made some jerk's girlfriend jealous.
