Oh it really shows. The villa could use some of this ... I got some lights in my room. I've always liked them. I have 'em along the door to my bunk on Serenity too. [ :3 ]

It just went right out of my mind with ... some things that happened an' all. [ One abduction for a long drive underground and one brother going POOF to go save the world kinda does that :c ]

I've heard the Brotherhood has run to a bit of a rough spot at the moment.

Yea ... 's been ... quieter. [ She nods, looking down to fidget with the bracelet she got to go with her shoes. It doesn't really hide the sadness in her eyes though. ]

I wasn't aware that Desmond was such a loud mouth. It certainly explains the attraction from Kate.

It just feels like somethin's missin'. The villa's big an' all, biggest place I ever lived in weren't a ship, an' there ain't many of us in it anyway. But it feels emptier. So ... 's quieter.

[ Helen nods. ] Not much recruiting these days, I take it.

I got brothers I'm really related to. 's all the practice I needed 'fore joinin' up with the crew then gettin' shipped on out to Aliunde an' here. 'm just doin' my job as the designated mei-mei. [ Not that it's official or anything but she pretty much ends up being adopted by many in some little sister-ish way. And she knows it. ]

Oh there's recruits an' all Ezio's got but they ain't livin' there. [ Still on the slow side though. ] 's not any numbers I can't take on though for my stuff. [ Making dem weapons oh yea. She's a teeny factory. ]

Adopted families can be just as proper as a blood related family. [ She certainly knows about that one. ]

I thought the entire Order would have lived there.

I ... don't really know 'bout that one Doc. 's a lot of details 'bout runnin' the group an' how everyone's all settled in it that I don't know 'bout. [ Or get to hear about because nooo, keep some things off teeny so she remains that bundle of annoying and adorable. ]

's kinda ... [ She waves a hand. UNIQUE. Just go with unique. Speshul case. ] I started back on Aliunde just with the weapons an' fixin' stuff up. But now I'm gettin' trainin' so I can protect myself ... or buy some time an' run off 'til someone can come along or I can hide. There've been some real close calls. [ That she doesn't look like she wants to remember. ]

I'm doin' it cos they got a point. It makes sense. An' Ezio said so. Ya know he looks all intimidatin' with that hood of his. [ Attempt at mood lightening! ]

So, self defense. [ She can't see anyone better to teach Kaylee. ] It's something everyone should know, regardless of being a member of the Brotherhood or not.
