The Black Keys and Spring and trivia

I keep hearing about the Black Keys, so I'm listening to some clips on eMusic and trying to decide what I think. They're good, visceral, and I like that, but it feels so...familiar and my automatic reaction is to be kind of dismissive about it. I think I grew up with, and continue to be surrounded by, this sound, so it feels like home but also

The Black Keys are coming to Calgary soon (with Cage the Elephant), but I only really know one of their songs - Tighten Up - which I more or less like, but listening to more of their stuff on YouTube it gets pretty samey pretty fast.

I'm jealous that you're getting spring. We're having an unusually cold and snowy and long-lasting winter.

They definitely get samey fast. Sorry spring isn't there yet, but it will get there soon! As Tom Waits says, you can never hold back spring.
