That's hilarious that he doesn't think it is "normal."

A few years back I got a big bag of grain that looked about like what your picture shows. We went ahead and ground it with some of the hulls in, which is apparently what the farmer we had got it from does for his own grain. Not the smoothest flour, but we survived it.

I finally asked him what "normal" would be. He responded, "Building a rocket ship and going to the moon with an alien astronaut monster."
