:) Is there any comfort in knowing that according to the experts (or whomever writes those articles) you're doing everything right? Or just frusturation they don't have the magic answer?
Personally, I think vegetables are overrated for children. They have lots of fibre and aren't very nutrient dense. So while I won't allow the over-processed stuff, I don't sweat it if my kids just eat the meat and grains.
Frustration that they don't have the magic answer. :D
To be honest, what I'm trying to do is help him learn to enjoy and make healthy choices so that when he's at school he picks the salad bar over the chicken nuggets. The state of our school lunches makes me shudder. I'll be packing his lunches, but when his friends are eating pudding packs, I want him to be happy with his applesauce. :D
