You could go retro/80's and have Joseph be Yoshi and Elizabeth be Peach (isn't that her name?) the princess from Mario Brothers :) This sounds cute to me right now, but I have a fever and lots of medicine in my system so if it's a bad idea, just ignore it.

Funny, we went out yesterday looking for a 12-18 month costume for Corbin, and had hardly any luck at all. One of the very limited options we found at Toys R Us was a caterpillar! I assume they have smaller sizes as well... maybe check there if you haven't already? The brand was Princess something-or-other (can't remember exactly).
