Oh Mandy, I was crying as I read your story. My own memories are so fresh still... Did they ever say why her heart rate dropped? Did the cord get in the way as the doc broke the waters?

I am glad you are all safe and that Elizabeth is a beautiful and healthy baby. Congrats again, mama!

You know...I never asked why her heart rate dropped. It's one of the things I want to cover in my follow-up appointment. Mostly to ease my own curiosity.

After your marathon labor, I feel like I had it easy. :D I delivered within six hours of my first painful contraction.

Hehehe, I am sobbing reading this. It reminds me of Spencer's story. Wow! It just brings it all back.
