For some Reason, I seem to be getting a number of people wanting me to 'Add' them to my Yahoo! Messenger List

These are all people that I don't know, have no Information on their Profile Page, and yet, still want me to Add them as if they know me or I know them

As I said, I don't know these people at all, and the first indication I get is a box ( Read more... )

Yes, I am experiencing the same thing on Yahoo! Messenger. There is a Blog Tab on the new Yahoo! Profile down the left side. I've ignored a lot of them recently and even get spam IM's. Also e-mails with nothing but a link. Those are immediately blocked and deleted.

I took remain cloaked most of the time on YIM unless I'm super bored and don't care who I talk to or I let a select group of people see my online with my stealth options, love that with YIM. Despite the issues it has, it remains my primary messenger. I might change that if this keeps up. Maybe to GoogleTalk, that's what most of my local friends use.
