not again

well, I didn't make it out to the radio show this week. When I was at the gym the day before my whole left knee cap kind of popped really painfully when I was on one of the machines. After that it was really painful to bend which made walking bad, plus I was really tired and I didn't want to be driving home at 2 AM that night ( Read more... )

what you may have found was a pinched nerve. the pain is localised but if you move the afflicted muscle, the pain can shoot around that one area and be very uncomfortable. if you get the pinched nerve in your back area or upper body you can get the problems breathing. massage ASAP is the number one way to get rid of pinched nerves. that and stretching your muscles surrounding it. you will want to move some even after you've gotten rid of the pinched nerve. if it's persistent and a person cannot massage it immediately: heat, and icy hot. but someone else massaging helps the most.

pinched nerves are intense pain... different from just pulling a muscle... i'd personally hardly describe a pinched nerve as an 'ache'-because it's clearly shooting pain.

you need some vitamin shakes and pills to boost your immune system.

the summer is great for fruit smoothies.
frozen fruit
protein shake powder
fruit juice
a bit of honey
yogurt

hope you feel better soon! <3

thanks.

I'm assuming now that's its a muscle or a nerve or something because it feels a little better today. if it were pnuemonia I assume it would be worse today. Plus I don't have a cough

Oil of Oregeno kills the bacteria that causes pnemonia, also remember to deep breath often so you excersice the very bottom branches of your lungs.
Your friend is exactly right about juicing and boosting you immune system it will help you get past it if you are developing pnemonia!

Feel better! If you feel bad tomorrow and you can tell it's in your lungs go to a prompt care place and get on antibiotics asap!!

The fuzz.

I think we still might have some of that oil around. BUt you know pnuemonia isn't only caused by bacteria it's caused by lots of things, including injury like that punctured lung I had a couple years back

I take my vitamins, but I think I might start making smoothies just in order to eat less in general.
today we got Pizza Hut, oh man it was so nasty. I can't believe we haven't learned our lesson yet. THey have these new wings that have disgusting super sweet and super spicy, sticky sauce over a nasty breading. And what did I do? I went back for seconds around 11:30 PM

that's it. never again

That's hilarious!
The last time I ate Pizza Hut I swear I said the exact sam thing! It's some nasty shit and I told Andy I never learn my lesson. haha

You should get a juicer, you can get a good one for not too much $$ from Bed Bath and Beyond or Target and you can just order it online and ship it.

Also, Andy and I bought some starter green lettuce and just put it in a long flower bed (like the ones dad made mom) and we do nothing to it and it's growing like crazy so we can eat an organic salad everyday.
You guys should do another garden but make it easier and just use large pots. You have no dogs to pee on them anymore.

I saw a great easy recipe for smoothies on Queer Eye the other day a famous basketball coach made them for his players:

Blend together:

1 cup of yogurt
strawberries (any kind of berries you like really)
banana's
honey for extra sweetness
crushed walnuts (for the protien)
ice

YUMMY! You can also add flax oil to get more Omega's 3 & 6's
