How do you feel about possibly taking over as captain or vice captain next year?

I wouldn't mind it. But I wouldn't really care too much if I didn't get either. Being vice-captain in junior high wasn't so bad.

How have you enjoyed being vice-captain in junior and senior high?

It's been very rewarding for me. I think Tezuka and I have made for a good combination, and I'm proud of the team we've been given the honor to lead. I'd never... want to be captain again, though. Too much stress for me. Overall, it's been the best part of my career at Seigaku.

Have you thought at all about what you want to study in the future?

I figured as much. I'd rather be vice-captain than captain. I don't have the...leadership skills it takes to be captain, anyway.

Not much. School has never really been my thing. I guess economics is a possibility.

Are you going to try to become a doctor?

Kantoku wanted to try out a new doubles formation and because Gakuto's singles was so weak, I was picked to pair up with him for doubles.

Are any of Inui-san's drinks, drinkable?

Actually, yes. He can make some really good things sometimes. He just usually chooses...not to. It's something I've learned to put up with.

Yeah. He's an idiot, but we've known each other for a long time.

Yeah, I did; Mukahi. I... don't really consider him my rival anymore, but... I guess you could still call us that.
