OMG it is sooo awesome! I feel like a silly fangirl but it is honestly one of the best games ever!!! Believe it or not, only 20 copies of the game were released in the Bay area today and Nelson got one ( Read more... )

It's possible the mike has a latency issue... There are certain things you can calibrate for it, I believe. On the other hand, it could just be that singing on pitch is tougher than it seems. Which difficulty are you playing at? (I've been playing guitar on Expert, vocals on Hard, drums on Medium...)

Best game ever. My three-person band (switching from instrument to instrument) played for about six hours yesterday and got 150 stars and a jet.

So you're not doing the solo career? I started one for drums but it's nowhere near as interesting as the world tour. You go to each city, play a couple songs, and they send you to the next city. I haven't even figured out a way to return to a previously visited city.

The easy difficulty for vocals. :( Nelson thinks if we turn the mike volume up all the way and turn down the singer's track he might be able to tell if something's wrong with it. We already had to fix the a/v latency. What makes the vocals easy/hard? Is it based on the leeway of how far off your intonation is?

On drums I'm playing medium too. That's the part I'm most excited about! With Guitar Hero (I and II, not III yet), I can beat the whole game on expert in not that much time, but I think it'll take me forever to get good at those drums. And that's a good thing! :)

That sounds awesome! Is it only for Xbox 360 and PS3 though? Cause that would suck.
