Amazing new chapter. I like how you mixed the two pilots. You took the best of both.
John's shoulder hurts when Sherlock is in danger. That is useful. ;)
But I am still thinking about what the rainbow sword and Johns wound by it means. I hope that I will have some answers in time.

Thank you so much! When I first saw SiP I had a lot of issues with it. Stylistically it is GORGEOUS but there were just plot holes you could drive a truck through! The pilot didn't have the holes, but lacked the style. So yes, it was very much my intention to patch up said holes in my version of the story by combining the two. There's still a patch yet to come that I personally like very much and hope you do as well. ;)

But I am still thinking about what the rainbow sword and Johns wound by it means. I hope that I will have some answers in time.

John's innocence, for want of a better word, is very endearing and a little bit heartbreaking <3

For all his years as an angel there are certain things that John is amazingly naive and innocent about. *^_^* It is rather sweet, but hopefully won't be too heartbreaking for him!

OMG! YES! I just read your chapters last week - recc'ed somewhere - and was quite depressed to not see an ending, and here you are, \o/

*GRINS* Oh yes, if the rec'er didn't warn you, this is a WIP, but as the note says I am VERY committed to finishing it and post a new chapter at least once a week. Usually more often. Chapter 9 only took the full week because I had a huge contract job I had to do and it was being an unusually unruly and recalcitrant chapter. ;)

But yes, there is definitely more coming and it will keep on coming. :)

Thank you! :) That's one of the things that I love doing with this story - taking canon stuff from the episodes and twisting it into new shapes and meanings. :)
