As for Sherlock and Lestrade, yeah, Sherlock can be kind of an arse to the DI, which is why John called him on it. I also have a soft spot for Lestrade, as does John. There will be future Lestrade ego-boosting times to come and some Sherlock smack-downs. ;) I just wanted to be true to the series, as Sherlock does treat Lestrade fairly rudely much of the time.

At some point I really should write a Lestrade fic. He deserves more love! :D

Yeah, John has a lot to figure out still. Being human is so very different than being an angel. ;) As for Sherlock, well, appreciating John and showing is appreciation are two very different things. ;) But I'm sure he'll come around. Eventually. ;)
